Music Workshops.Steve Lawson (bassist) and Neil Alexander (keyboardist) will each offer a 90-minute workshop focusing on innovative developments in sound creation and manipulation. Neil discusses and demonstrates use of synthesizers and electronics for improvising in “Jazz in the Digital Age”. Steve’s “Solo Bass & Beyond” workshop moves beyond the confines of any one-way of looking at the bass guitar as an instrument. The Workshops will be videotaped to posted on the website after the 2 day event.
The Wallkill River School is located at the Patchett House at 232 Ward St (17k) in Montgomery, NY. Suggested donation is $10.00.
